Is there any trick to getting the old RF modulator out?

What would really be cool would be to have a flip flop and address decode to put that under software control.

Really looking forward to getting these. I have multiple ZX81s but nothing that can display an RF modulated signal.

I'm fairly certain that the original power supply was an unregulated transformer. If so, a modern regulated 24V should work just fine. Certainly an unregulated supply isn't going to be accurate to better than 10%. I would probably like to find one rated for the full 1A output if possible though unle...

Two questions:

1.) Does anyone know what will get the adhesive from the rubber feet off the plastic case without harming the case?

2.) Does anyone have a source for replacement feet?

The guy says he's the original purchaser from the early 1980s at some electronics show. I suppose that it's possible that some guy in the US imported some units "in bulk", not individually boxed and wrapped the parts in cling wrap to sell at some electronics show. In fact, if someone did buy a dozen...
