Re: Hi Sinclair fans

@1024MAK, thanks for your welcome @Lardo Boffin, thanks for your interest.. Yes, this is possible :D , tzx should, what format are you using? Maxduino 1.56 option #ID19REW is not activated by default. As you know there is also an id block for pause in tzx format, that you can insert before each lev...

Re: TZXDuino for ZX81

Just bought another one. Its about time I kept one as they are very useful. The faster ZX81 loading is interesting. Can (or has) the same been done with the Spectrum? The original 48K can load much faster than a cassette player can go (I think Manic Miner can load in about 30 seconds). Can these do ...

Re: TZXDuino for ZX81

Thanks for the information. I will have a look when I buy another one (I tend to sell them when I refurbish a nice condition boxed ZX81 so don’t actually own one!).

Re: Hi Sinclair fans

Welcome! I have found the tzxduino works well with the ZX81 (or at least the ones I have bought). They always load first time which definitely cannot be said of using a cassette player! Not sure how they work with multipart loading games though? Never managed to get that to work yet, e.g. Rock Crush...

Re: Help needed with a unstable +2 grey

I have a +2a that has a noisy tape player when playing. Its pretty quiet when fast forwarding and rewinding. I wonder if they are just a bit noisy?

Re: Lardo buys another zeddy

I only have Minestorm at the mo (its built in) and have the overlay. It looks better without on that one I think.

I can see there are a few multi-carts out there. May have to be a purchase at some point.

Re: Lardo buys another zeddy

The Vectrex now there's a strange beast. I have it on Pi emulation but cannot get to grips with it at all. I think it is one of those things you need to see properly not via an emulator. The image quality on the little black and white screen is simply amazing and I think just has to be seen. I don’...

Re: Lardo buys another zeddy

Hee hee ! Why are you replacing that ULA Lardo? I always liked the look of those later Ferranti jobbies. I managed to buy a couple of vLA81s so it will end up as a 32K zeddy with composite mod the easy way. It will then either be a spare for when I can get ZX8-CCBs again or if times are hard...
