Re: ZXSimulator for the Sinclair QL

Welcome to the forums - great to see a new ZX81 emulator for the QL - there is an existing one, but whilst the Spectrum emulators have had several versions and improvements, there has only ever been Xtricator (http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/zx81/index.html).

Just wondering what your thoughts were on my membrane and how it compared with the other? (I assume you have received it by now?)

Re: Understanding ZX81 signals to Timex/Sinclair Printers

A printer emulator as you describe Paul can be achieved with a Memotech Centronics interface and RWAP’s RetroPrinter. https://www.retroprinter.com/ But I assume a ESP32 directly on the ZX81 would make a cheaper interface than Memotech I/F + RetroPrinter + Raspberry Pi. Yes, my idea would be to have...

I’ll take one please! Or two if nobody else is interested.
No one else has asked about them, so they are yours :)

Finding Compact Flash cards for use in retro gear is also rather hard

Re: ZX80 Assembly Instructions

I have scanned the instructions as well as my hardware permits. The attachments process has seriously reduced these in size and therefore quality (from around 4mb to <300K). Is there a better way of storing these somewhere? If you PM RWAP, he may be able to host the files on the site without the fo...

Re: Small SD Cards (cost of shipping only)

Thanks. I currently have to share my SD card between three devices. First world problems... :? The other problem is finding smaller capacity cards nowadays - I had a long discussion with an SD card provider about cards for my Retro-Printer - the smallest anyone was making (a couple of years ago now...
