A delay of half a line before the odd vsync shifts the field to start between the lines of the previous field. Stefano, my code generates 2 different vsyncs, one for odd fields and one for even fields. That makes it easy to know which phase you're in and which part of the graphics should be used.

The keyboard OVERLAY needs to be updated to get the correct keywords for the 8k ROM. The matrix is the same. A simple sticker would be enough.

Moggy, stereo is indeed possible but at reduced samplerate. I don't remember if shuffling data from the card was a bottleneck or not.

There is a program to convert audio to the format needed by this player. Have a look at the description at guthub, it tells most you would need to know.
