Re: Cheap Joystick Interface

XavSnap,

Just add 5 mm to the joystick port side. Then you will be fine. I certainly will order the boards to be printed! It was a project which encouraged me to do something about pressing a few keystrokes on the ZX81/TS1000 while playing a “Packrabbit” game!

Re: Cheap Joystick Interface

XavSnap,

Please make the template of the board. And paste the template, with its measurements, here.

Thank you (Merci).

Re: Cheap Joystick Interface

XavSnap,

WOW, you lift this subject up here from almost 10 years ago! ;) The 74HCT1G32 is still too much!
Have you tested the board on the TS1500 yet? :?: Please consider its power and AV ports areas. Hummm....

Re: Need help reverse engineering Timex Store Demonstrator ROM file

Hey all of you,

We already know about the result with the ZX81 and TS1000 cased computers. Now, behold the TS1500 cased computer result!

XavSnap, do nothing to the board! The EPROM/EEPROM already take control over the computer!

Re: TS1500's special chip removal

Mark,

Thanks. I really need bola-dor's big help on the TS1500 clone board building section. Like reverse-engineering the board and drawing a schematic. Finding the 68 pins socket for the TS1500 special chip.

Re: TS1500's special chip removal

1024MAK, NEITHER! They are not JUNK! I plan to do something to the chip and the board in the future. For the chip, I would try to build a new board with the chip in mind and 27C64/28C64 and MN4264-12, HM628512 or similar included. For the board, I would try to hook up it with 40 pins IC socket and p...

Re: Wilf Rigter's High Speed interface projects.

XavSnap,

The board IVa design looks good. However, I would wait on you to design a High Speed Interface Va (Fifth a) with ALL "socketed" ICs out of the computers cases' way. Same concept as Timex Store Demo. board!

Thank you very much.
