my first computer was also a TRS80 MC10.
Soon followed by a ZX Spectrum.

Last year I wrote a TRS80 MC10 emulator for the ZX Spectrum and it can play the games in Screen1.

I also added my version of SHOGUN to the emulator.

WHY HAS GAME 81 "SIR CLIVE" 162 ROOMS?

SIR CLIVE PASSED AWAY AGED 81 AND IT IS GAME 81, 81+81=162



2X81=162 this is also true and it reads like ZX81 but the reason is the tribute to Sir CLive.
The game has more than enough space left for extra rooms, but it was done in 162 rooms.

I bought 3 button in an electronicshop and with some wood I created
a box with 3 buttons on top. These were connected with a joystick connector and were programmable.

It saved my joysticks and my keyboard.

The contest was on the last day of the London olympics and I coded a oneliner swimming.
This oneliner was later used as the 1K hires swimming on the ZX81.
