Re: LARKEN UTILS
I have two of the TS1000 types somewhere in the garage! Will they work with 3.5" disks? I have some old 5.25" disk drives somewhere... probably also in the garage.

Re: New Hardware Projects
Well.. last weekend I had a root through the stuff in the garage and... I found a big box of ZX-81 stuff. Lots of food for my imagination here! I located the MIDI interface and connected my souped up ZX-81 (built on a slab of aluminum plate as it long ago outgrew the case) but my monitor is toast :(...

Re: Developing new ZX81 Video Driver
I was wondering can I use this to display some non-standard characters- like music notes or graphics for a ZX-81 MIDI app I'm working on?
I guess I'll need to become one with the code....

I think I could use this for some pseudo-gui app I'm writing to use in the electronics lab!

Re: New Hardware Projects
I would definitely order 2 or 3 units of the SD interface card. My soldering iron is always on standby! If I may suggest moving the LEDs to the top RHS and including a power LED. That way they will be visible when the card is in place. BTW in the late 80's I designed a MIDI interface for the ZX-81. ...
