Don't know if anyone can help on this one ? I am trying to write the first part of a programme which starts 0 rem etc etc etc val print etc etc etc The problem being that the line just carries on but the print commands only normally come on at the start of a newline,so how do they get the print comm...

Just to thank you again sirmorris and to say that everything is now working.I actually built a little filter on to the audio lead to do it and it now works every time. :D

Hi sirmorris,
Thank,s for that.Well I am still trying I have had a go now with all sound levels but still no luck as yet.
I am reluctant to type in a massive programme that I can't use again, anyway I will keep trying.

Wondering if anyone can help with a problem on the zx81 emulator version 0.43 ? The emulator works well and I can save programmes on tzx or to tape, but I cannot get them to load. Ok bobs, Many thanks for that information and I will certainly have a look at your site. In the book not only 30 programmes for the zx81 the machine code for the DRAUGHTS game is entered into the programme in the normal form i'e, AF 21 3C ,etc etc, and then changes the REM statement on the first lin...

As I remember I think there was a basic programme first,but the thing was that one of the lines used about 2 or 300 random characters consisting of letters, numbers,fullstops,commas,colons,inverted commas,brackets,question marks,strings signs,=signs,etc,basically anything on the keyboard and I exper...

Hello Bobs, Well the programme which really suprised me was the snooker game for the zx81 and I loaded it all in as it was written in the magazine but to cram all that detail in was amazing and it appeared to do it by using this form of machine code using lines of characters but not in a rem stateme...
