Re: New release of EightyOne available
Version 1.37 has just been released and is available from here . Hello, A quick question, about my small problem: My tests with Eightyone have shown that only after using the Eightyone version e.g. "V0.43b" or "V0.52" even in the latest "Version 1.37", the 8-bit Volume are recognized (connected to ...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Thanks for the file. I was able to reproduce the issue and have a fix lined up for inclusion in the next release.

Re: Loading on the ZX80
It seems everyone was far too canny to fall for my ruse of announcing the seemingly implausible claim of a ZX80 dual ROM loading technique on April Fool’s day! But the technique is indeed real and here the source code for it: ZX80_Dual_ROM_Load_Demo.asm The demo simply deploys one of two paylo...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Version 1.37 has just been released and is available from here . A number of the ROMs that are included with EightyOne have been renamed and restructured into subfolders. You should delete your existing EightyOne installation before copying on the new files. When run, EightyOne might warn it can't f...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
I have a (possibly foolish) question. I'm using memory view to see what changes when I do something at the ZX80 prompt. The viewer colours Red any memory cell that has changed, so you can easily spot that. However, is there a way to reset the memory viewer, so that nothing has changed, to set a new...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Hi Marc I've just sent a PM to you about Flight Simulation. Hitting the nail on the head, sir! I understand now. Not only Sinclair Egypt (actually the Matisco Trading & Inv. Co. of Cairo) but also Beckman in Sweden used this technique. The switch looks nicer though, it can be reached from the edge c...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Adding an Investrónica tab would be a great idea! There is a Timex tab so an Investronica ones seems appropriate. There aren't significant hardware differences, just the ROMs, but it could useful for those models to have have their own tab. For the Spanish 128, the 128 BASIC editor was significantl...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
I have this Arabic +3 of which the roms aren't dumped yet! Would there be a means of saving the contents to tape/disk, possibly after a bit of peeking, poking or using OUT as I don't have a rom programmer/reader? I'll include some ideas when I PM about Flight Simulation. One query though... The Ara...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Follow the link in my signature if you want to see the Spanish +2A/+3 (+2 is in the mail!) and French +2 up close. Thanks for the link. A very nice collection there and a great resource!! :D the French one does have a translated 128 ROM, but the keyboard is still English! The descriptions of the po...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Well, that was surprisingly easy! Just let your plane crash and the program just stops! I've beaten the 40 year old copy protection! ?? :-D What would be the best to do? Save line 1 to tape or do I need to peek and poke something? Saving the program in RAM will not produce a perfect copy of the ROM...
