Put me down for one as well. By having an actual board from which to design an enclosure I can get them available much more quickly with less prototyping. Looks great!

Do you think can works also with a Lamba 8300 clones family?

Re: ZXpand+ ... 3.. 2.. 1..
The ZX81 version uses it's own modified copy of the ZX81 ROM which is switched in to replace the built in ROM. It is this that allows the ZXpand to have its own BASIC keywords. As the Lamba 8300 clones family have different ROMs, it is unlikely that the code in the different ROMs will be in the same place. Also, the area used by the ZX81 font in the ZXpand ROM is used for machine code (the internal ROM continues to be used for the character font data).davidebarlotti wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 4:54 am Do you think can works also with a Lamba 8300 clones family?
You will have to wait for Mr C for further details of what can and cannot be done.

Re: ZXpand+ ... 3.. 2.. 1..
Interesting. I know that some clones have a virtually unaltered ROM, with extensions in the 8-16k area. Is there a ROM dump for this machine?davidebarlotti wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 4:54 am Do you think can works also with a Lamba 8300 clones family?
The main issue with clones tends to be that the expansion ports are located differently and ZXpand covers the power/tape/video ports This can be got around with an extender however. A picture of the back side of the machine would clear that up.
I know members of the ZX-team use lambdas. Perhaps they can answer more definitively. Head over to our sister forum at tlienhard.com and ask there perhaps? They are a very knowledgeable friendly bunch, all with perfect English.

If someone could supply me with a clone...
Re: ZXpand+ ... 3.. 2.. 1..
I want a clone from me also.
Re: ZXpand+ ... 3.. 2.. 1..
We should clone the clones Karl!
Re: ZXpand+ ... 3.. 2.. 1..
I can supply you with a PC8300 in October
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
