Black border?

Post by mrtinb »

With UDG, I can create an inverted char set to make a screen with white chars on black screen. Can an external interface be made to change the white border to black? Or can it be done in software?

Yes, an external interface called "Chroma81" is able to set the border colour (also to "black") ;)

Maybe also simple video interfaces (CCP???), which can invert the whole picture, will show a black border.

It is easy with the ZX8-CCB video mod.
There is a jumper to select inverted picture and this could be even used with a switch.
Don't need to change character patterns for this. ;)
