I don't understand why anyone would want to revert back to RF, Its an extremely poor quality source and totally outdated
so I can see why anyone would want to go from composite to RF especially as the tvs capable of receiving this kind of signal
are disappearing and one day will be gone, I have a CRT myself which I use to connect various computers and consoles to because it
provides a better quality image for that kind of device than a LED tv can but even then I use composite or RGB scart,
I love the nostalgia of the games and machines not the awful quality I used to have to put up with on my old b/w 14" tv back in 1982 :)

There is different opinion between collectors and users of ZX81. Some people find it sacrificing to do unreversable modifications, others don't care about it. It's a matter of choice, I would say. ;)
