I have an old ISA MIDI unit with 5 sockets if that's any good. :lol:

I've tried the new 2k mixer, sounds ok. A little different but just as good. As it simplified the build it's going in ;) Softer stereo FTW!

This is the AY-board ("Mr. X") made by Sascha: channel C is fed into channel A and B. AFAIK the 470 Ohm resistors are now 1K:

Still a bit low at 1k, more current less voltage, I find the 2.2k set-up drives my mixing desk or speakers better than 1.6k or less plus the stereo image is less harsh .

Each to their own just my personal view. ;)
