When you get down to this level of programming it makes it even more hilarious to hear some people say computers can become sentient.

Just imagine the overhead each program has when coding in a high(er) level language.
It is always compensated by a faster processor and more memory where you can win much more with efficient coding in lower level language.

lots of bloated inefficient code relying on a brute of a CPU and monster memory to run it rather than efficient trimmed code running on paucity hardware.
