You need to overtake a number of cars before time runs out. Like the screens shown I am thinking of 3 cars on the screen.
Collision means braking back to a slow speed (so you can still overtake but slowly) and then again increase speed to reach the next stage!
Hiresscreen should fit in 192 bytes based on my first calculation.
I already made a nice looking racecar!
All are perfect but you have to improve the visual effects
You see a screen of 7X192 (=1344) bytes. So the display is more than available memory.
This is only possible with a custom made displayroutine.
