I have a couple of TS1000's, a ZXMore, a ZXPand and a ZXPand+. I primarily use the ZXMore with either ZXPand+ or occasionally ZXPand. Do I need to buy a EPROM burner, EPROMs? Is there any documentation of what to buy, how to do it, etc? I would love to use this fast ROM.

If I remember correctly. You kan load any ROM into ZXmore. I know this from ZXblast, which I have. And ZXmore and ZXblast should be quite similar.

I have the fast ROM in instance 3, and regular ROM is instance 1.

You don't need an EPROM burner. Just "load" that rom from instance 0 LOAD menu to address 0 of any other instance. The LOAD menu of instance 0 shows also an example to "LOAD" something into FLASH rom of ZxMore.

It should be in the ZXmore manual. It was in the ZXblast manual.

Dear All,

I hope you are well despite the pandemic.

Here is the last X2-ROM variant - let's see, what is changed:

- the Babylonian (or Heron's) square root method (from the SAM Coupe ROM by Andy Wright) shared by aowen is included; :D
- i tried to solve an old "problem": the flicker free PAUSE; ;)
- good news for Siggi & Joachim: the renewed CLS (is a bit slower but) handles the too long D-Files.

The zip file contains the new ROM image (zx81X2m.rom for zxmore) and its source code, the changed/patched routines in a separate folder, and some test programs.

zx81x2c.zip
Please test it with your favourite softwares
