Yo, man.
This is cool stuff but I must admit the game is hard. :)

And although the second (advanced - http://www.zx-team.de/andre/zip_files/Beamer2.zip ) version is harder, but I still prefer it because to have better gfx. :)

It is harder because the ship is bigger.
But actually You could try to change the second version by adding one more column to the "beam" (it would consist of 2 columns then).

In this case it would add some random element. ;) And it might be a bit easier then.

Just a thought anyway. ;)

I always regret I can't make games. I mean coding.
Making games is so cooooooooooooooooooool. ;)

hi jon.

it was also fun to program it. i did that on christmas 2007 during some free hours. but later i found the game was slow and very easy to play. then i´ve send a copy to andre*** and he send it back to me in the version you played.

thank you andre***

It would be good to have some sort of open ended fun competition among group members for new games. Maybe put in a restriction such as best game in 1k or BASIC only programming. One excellent feature of the eightyone emulator is the fact that at the highest speed setting it makes even BASIC programs playable.
