Forum etiquette here is that normally you do not need to quote the post you are responding to if there have been no replies in between. So if your post follows on directly, unless you wish to highlight a particular point, please use the Post Reply button rather than the quote button.
If you do wish to quote a post, please only quote the part(s) that are relevant, not the entire post. You can always edit the quoted section. Just be careful not to disturb or delete the square brackets [] or any part of the BB code within the square brackets.
