People may have heard of this already but a programme called 'The Micro Men' which seems to be a dramatization about the history of Sinclair Computers is scheduled for October 8th. It will go out on the digital channel BBC4. It looks amusing and should be worth an hour of anyone's time.

Hello, Folks,
I've just finished the above (the birth of a new child got somewhat in the way!) Can someone tell me how to upload the p.file to the group?
Cheers

Re: Remaking the ZX81 the Prop-ZX81
On this subject, I was flicking through a recent copy of EPE when I happened upon an advert for something called the xgamestation- a kind of home video game console development kit - apparantly the design was inspired by the spectrum, atari 800 etc. etc. One version of this system uses the Propeller...

New game - shut the box
Hi, folks, I've spent the first part of the festive season programming a version of the British pub classic 'Shut The Box'. I've never seen a zeddy version of this before - although I confess I haven't looked that hard! I'd love to share it with the group (if anyone is interested, that is). Can some...

Re: Remaking the ZX81 the Prop-ZX81
Oddly enough I was only thinking last night about the possibility of using microcontrollers as the heart of cloned machines. The possibilities here should be endless!

Re: Finding the right keys for commands?
Actually I've just worked out that shift and enter (or newline if you will) or ctrl by itself will give you the function cursor. Ctrl by itself works with eightyone but not ,it seems, with vb.81.
