I might be able to modify it, as the D-file is in a different location. If I remember correctly the D-file is hardcoded on the Lambda 8300.
I'll try to modify the Basic version and see what happens.

Re: LOWRES -demo
Very interesting.
I wonder what the Lambda 8300 will do with code like this. The Lambda 8300 does not support pseudo hires or WRX hires, as all video output is handled internally in the ULA, including the charset.

I've never seen this online magazine before. Is there anywhere you can download all the published issues?

Very fascinating game and coding concept.
Can you elaborate more on the Quaracterdisplay?
Is is generated by taking 2 pixel lines from 4 different characters?

Re: External board for SPonZY (and other ZX81 ROMs)
That look great. I also designed an internal board to shift between ROMs on the Lambda 8300 (Original ROM, Color ROM and ZX81 compatible ROM). However I have never tested it, as I have more ideas than time to implement them. (I need to get my ZX81 inside Minitel project finished, and I'm also workin...

Re: New Pascalated BASIC Contest
Don't get me wrong. I love the Pascalated Basic, and use it in a modified form on my ZX81. The new version that is compiled is great for Spectrum users I think.

Re: New Pascalated BASIC Contest
From what I see with the compiler, this is only for the Spectrum, and not the ZX81.

Re: ASM : Lambda speaker.
Also know that the Lambda 8300 came in two different ROM versions. The first version was almost a pure ripoff of the ZX81, and the company got sued. Then they released a new ROM where a lot of routines were moved to other locations and they added support for color if you bought an extra Lambda Colou...
