Re: Macrolife and L-Sys strings
Hi Siggi; Ah, I see. The easiest solution would be to change the value of RAMTOP in line 2020 to whatever value works for you. The upper 6K from $E000 upwards is reserved for a copy of the HRDFILE. So you could set it to anything lower than that. The only change is that you won't have as much memory...

Re: Macrolife and L-Sys strings
Hi Siggi; I'm assuming your referring to lower ram? The areas used in lower ram are... 8000-14336 HIRES DFILE $2000-$3800 14337-15129 SCREEN MENU $3801-$3B19 15130-15979 MC PROGS $3B1A-$3E6B 15999-16389 FREE SPACE $3E7F-$3FFF 390 BYTES As you can see there are 390 free bytes remaining. Hope that's e...

Macrolife and L-Sys strings
Set1 Screens.jpg Hi All; I've posted an L-Sys prog for 16K machine and a Macrolife prog for a WRX64K machine. This program merges both of these to produce some nice high res images. It is menu driven so you don't have to figure out what parameters to use for the L Strings, although there are a coup...

Re: Macrolife Animator
Actually, it doesn't run MC in upper ram, it just needs the RAM to store the individual frames.
There is a version of Macrolife that runs in 16K, but you can't do much with it.

Greg

Re: ZX81 Sofware Repository
My magazine wishlist is for Synceware News, all mine got stolen years age. I did scan the pages which had my stuff on them, wish I'd scanned the whole thing now. WoS has a listing but only the covers.

Re: ZX81 Sofware Repository
Well, I certainly didn't want to open a can of worms. I was unaware of the controversy regarding this site.
The powers that be can delete the thread, or can I delete a post myself?
Sorry

Re: ZX-LSYS LINDENMAYER SYSTEMS
That look great, I'm envious!!! It's nice to know that programs can still be tested on the real thing. I have a ZX81 and T/S1000 with RAM pack, just no cables, power supply or B&W CRT TV.
